Occurrence history of left- and right-sided traffic

In Russia at Peter I right-hand movement was accepted for norm, vehicles and sledge parted, as a rule, keeping a right side, and in 1752 empress Elizabeth Petrovna has published the official decree about introduction in streets of the Russian cities of right-hand movement of carriages and carriers.
